Sick Visits

We make every effort to schedule appointments for sick children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency that occurs during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility. If you would like us to see more than one child, please schedule both of them when you make your appointment. Without an appointment, we may not be able to see a sick sibling right away, and you may be asked to wait while the provider sees a scheduled patient who may be waiting.

Please contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all non life-threatening issues. We start answering our phone Monday through Friday at 8 am and you need not worry about navigating through a maze of recorded messages or long stretches of entertaining tunes before reaching a live assistant - our receptionists will be the ones who address your concerns directly. When we are not in the office, there will be recorded instructions on the voicemail greeting on how to easily access medical care and advice from our nurses and providers. As your child or adolescent's medical home, we have access to the medical charts that enable us to provide health care based on each patient's prior medical history, treatments, and allergies. So remember to "Call Us First"!
